Memorial Day Weekend Outfit Recap

Hi everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing, and safe Memorial Day weekend.

Today I’m posting a quick recap of my looks from this weekend (pulled from Instagram). Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Pool Party

My little sister had her graduation party on Saturday, which meant all of her friends, and my friends, and my parents’ friends all came over. Since it was a pool party, I wore a bikini of course!

The top and bottom are completely different, but I like to mix up patterns in a similar color family to keep things interesting. And because pink pompoms on my bandeau top weren’t enough, I also wore a coverup dotted with little pink tassels. I do have a pair of pink pompom sandals (I wore them in another look below), but I thought that might be a bit too much! Besides, I was in the pool all day sipping on sangria anyway.

Hamptons Day

Sunday saw my mom & I spending a day in Southampton. Even though it’s been harder to get out for a day trip because I’m so busy with work in the summer, I love the tradition and try to go 1-2 times a summer. We always have lunch at the same place – 75 Main – and I love browsing the lovely boutiques like LF, Ruby & Jenna, Flying Point, and Roberta Roller Rabbit.

I love wearing an all-white outfit in the summer, and I feel as though it’s perfectly luxe-looking for the Hamptons. Even though the top and bottom cost less than $80 together, I dressed it up with some designer jewelry, shoes, and a bag for a nice mix of high and low.

Monday was super busy despite the morning rain! I had a beach barbecue to go to in the afternoon, a party to go to at night, and then out to the local bars for a nightcap. I needed an outfit that would work for all 3 occasions, so I chose this simple romper (all white again). I wore flat sandals for navigating the beach, but their pink pompoms plus a summery vintage Gucci bag dressed up the look for the evening nicely.

Like most of us, I am back at work today, but the events of this past weekend have me stoked for everything that’s to come in the warm season ahead.
