I am loving how early spring descends upon Nashville. It is so warm out – yesterday reached 75 degrees. This weekend we’re supposed to get snow for a day, but I don’t mind the balance!
For yesterday’s heat wave, I wore a new eyelet shell I scored from J.Crew Factory. A few years back, my best friend and I saw this indie movie titled “Not Fade Away” about music in in the 1960s. At the end of the film, the male and female lead complete a cross country trek from snowy New Jersey to sunny Los Angeles. After an entire movie of drab, dark dresses, she wears this top when seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time. I have always yearned for a shirt that looked just like it. The one I’m wearing emulates my fashion dreams from that film pretty well. I’ll do a more in-depth post on this top and all of my spring shopping buys soon.
Those Sam Edelman scalloped loafers are adorable in leopard, but take note that I was tending to blisters all night last night.
This weekend, I’m planning on staying in and hibernating from the cold (which I will surely not be used to after all this warm weather).
