Over the past 5 months of living here, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and shopping with some of the local businesses in Nashville. I’m sure I’ll find many more the longer I reside here, but I had to feature some of my favorites so far.
The Capitol Company
Above, I am wearing the ‘Davidson County’ tee from The Capitol Company. This cute collection of casualwear featuring recognizable local Nashville names and logos is a cool way to represent your home from hot yoga to brunch (at least, that’s what I’ve been doing). You can check out the full inventory of tees, sweatshirts, hats, and more at thecapitolco.com – also, $1 of every purchase is donated to the Nashville Rescue Mission.
Nashville Soap Company
This luxurious line of soaps and bath products is a must-try. They have an amazing array of fragrant, sumptuous scents, like rosemary, beer(!) and eucalyptus. All products are made local in Music City. The full line is available to view and purchase at nashvillesoapcompany.com.
1767 Designs
Once featured on a previous article I wrote about my favorite Instagram accounts in Nashville, I am now the proud owner of two of the original pieces made of reclaimed wood from 1767 Designs, featured above. I’m looking forward to receiving them in the mail soon so I can see where they’re from and hang them in my bedroom. You can follow the company on Instagram @1767designs.
The Shop by Amelia Styles
After seeing Amelia Styles’ personal looks on her Blog, I had to check out her store in East Nashville. I was not disappointed. The store is a perfect representation of her feminine, Parisian style. I walked out a very happy customer with this buttery soft allover lace top, wearing above. I’ve only worn it once and received a barrage of compliments all day. For those who don’t live in Nashville, you’re still in luck, as you can shop her feed here.
What are your some of your favorite local businesses in Nashville? I’d love to hear (and check out) your recommendations.
