Given that I am a Serial Outfit Repeater as well as a young professional, having a watch that stands the test of time (sorry for the pun) is essential. Being able to consistently monitor the minute calms some of my neurosis. I have always appreciated the professional function of a timepiece, but the appearance and feel of a good watch can also elevate one’s look as a thoughtful accessory.

For the next week, I’ve teamed up with @jordwatches to provide one winner with $100 off one of their gorgeous & unique wood watches – perfect for that person you haven’t gotten a Valentines Day gift with, a friend, or just to treat yourself. ENTER HERE, & contest ends Sunday, February 11 at midnight.

I won’t lie, I was a little skeptical before I did more research on JORD. I have tried a few brands that offer minimalist watches before, and it seems like every other fashion blogger on Instagram is wearing some type of simple watch or other. However, JORD is so much more different than I’ve ever seen in that they feature timepieces that are crafted uniquely from different types of wood, while still holding onto that simple aesthetic.

Just to clarify, JORD  offers watches in all styles for men & women. Also, just because they are made of wood does not mean that they cannot coordinate with a minimalist wardrobe. As a personal example (photographed above), they have a watch style made purely of ebony, whose stark black was much appreciated by my significant other as an early Valentine’s Day gift.

This post was sponsored by JORD, however, opinions are all my own.
