Depending on where you live, we still have 2-4 more months of winter ahead of us. Thank goodness for cute sweaters and beanies and warm coffee to keep me going. Nashville winters fluctuate between cold and mild days enough that I don’t mind so much, even after living here for two years. They don’t even compare to the grueling New York winters I’ve had to endure.
I didn’t really come up with any New Year’s resolutions (or a subsequent post) but one thing I’ve really been prepping for this year is an improved content structure. It’s my intention to be more deliberate with the way I produce content for this blog and continue to make it the best it can be. As my Instagram & blog followings grow, I want to make sure my engagement does as well and doesn’t become hurt by the new algorithm. To do that, the content I make has to be engaging, obviously.
I spent all of December posting infrequently as I was working on a content calendar for the entirety of 2019, which is about 75% built out at this point. I’ve also updated my website interface to be more user-friendly, and I love the way it’s turned out. This has gotten me really excited for the year ahead. I was able to grow my following substantially last year and land some amazing collaborations (from brands like Kohl’s, Gorjana, and American Express), so I can’t even imagine how this year is going to turn out.
If you are reading this and have any feedback for more (or less) content you’d like to see from me, please let me know! Like most blogs, this was started and is executed as a passion project to help fuel my creativity, but I definitely want to take the opinions of people who my content resonates with into strong consideration.
