My camisole is currently on sale for 50% off and I highly recommend the purchase! It’s velvet AND reversible, so you can wear the lace-up side forwards (like I did, pictured), or backwards. I’ve even work it backwards with a cardigan so the neckline is appropriate for the office. The style runs true to size. Shop here!
Now, let’s talk about one of my less-than-stellar personality traits for a second: my obsession with celebrity and reality TV culture AKA: THE TEA.
Is something in retrograde that I didn’t know about? In last week’s news, first there was, Jussie, then Jordyn. I really shouldn’t be shocked at the narcissism of pseudo-celebrities, but I admittedly am in these cases (and what does that say about me?) I’ve been keeping up with this season of The Bachelor, albeit slowly, as this iteration seems particularly forced. Lastly, I also started up the new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills again, and the over-the-top personalities & luxuries do not disappoint.
Despite all of the envy-inducing wealth flashing going on with these celebrities and television programs, I am grateful that I can close my window or app or magazine on all the drama at the end of the day, and I don’t have to be the one living it.
Speaking of tea in literal terms, I find nothing better than a daily piping hot cup. I drink tea every morning at work (coffee is my weekend treat, which is kind of backwards). Firepot Chai in 12 South where the indoor photo above was shot has an amazing selection of standard and specialty teas sold in several local stores, as well as some specialty lattes in their café. I was drinking a turmeric tea cinnamon concoction of some kind, and it was the perfect antidote to the freezing day.
