The #1 piece I wanted to add to my closet this season was a plaid blazer. I’ve started a new job with a business casual office dress code, and its close enough to my apartment that I can walk there, so having a layer like this is great to add polish to an outfit and stay warm on the walk when the weather cools down. Mine is currently on sale from Revolve, and I also love this herringbone one from Anine Bing and this blue one from Gap.

This week, we’re having a heat wave in Nashville, so the days make the idea of wearing a blazer like this truly unfathomable. But the evenings and mornings are now much cooler, so for now, I style this for night with shorts and a top. Later, I’ll be wearing it with jeans and boots. And for work, it will be great to go over dresses or with a simple black pant & heel. Stay tuned to my Instagram, as its safe to say that this will be a serial repeat!
