I just got back from my Fourth of July weekend trip to New York and am excited to share my travel guide for summer in the city and out east on Long Island/The Hamptons. Those that know me know I grew up in New York, so I am lucky for the opportunity to travel back there for what I think is the best season of the year.
Planning a trip to Nashville? You might be doing lots of research, reading articles and asking friends for recommendations. Today, I wanted to share a guide to the city from the perspective of a local fashion blogger - aka someone who prioritizes style, ambiance, and authenticity in my travel experiences. Check out my recommendations for the best Music City has to offer.
Last week was the first week in a long time that I haven't had to work while in New York, so I wanted to spend my time there doing whatever the hell I wanted and revisiting some of my favorite places and attractions! Today I wanted to share my travel diary with all of these favorite places (most of which are downtown). Enjoy!
12th Avenue South in Nashville (or just 12 South) is one of the best neighborhoods in town for plein air shopping & dining (plus, they have a few murals to satisfy your Instagram craving, which is why this locale makes my Blogger Guide series). If you’re planning a trip to Nashville, I’d insist that 12 South is a must.
I only spent 3 days in New Orleans with a group, so I titled this blog post as a travel diary. I don't want to call it a travel guide as it was my first time in the city, I was only there for a short weekend, and I missed out on a lot of the major stops (like Café du Monde). We still were able to accomplish a lot, but I'd love a chance to go back and experience more!
Most of the activity in Tulum is all on beach road, which runs alongside the beach (obviously) & through the jungle. It's a very busy street, but all of the establishments are built in the similar minimal, bohemian style, which tries its best to be low-impact on the surrounding environment and gives the feeling that everything grows out of the trees.
