I, like many other millennials, spent the better part of a recent weekend watching not one, but two documentaries on the catastrophic failure that was Fyre Festival. The Fyre Festival debacle, while agreeably a catastrophe, drove home this important shift in the way people react to advertising today.

I didn't really come up with any New Year's resolutions (or a subsequent post) but one thing I've really been prepping for this year is an improved content structure. As my Instagram & blog followings grow, I want to make sure my engagement does as well and doesn't become hurt by the new algorithm. I spent all of December posting infrequently as I was working on a content calendar for the entirety of 2019, which is about 75% built out at this point. I've also updated my website interface to be more user-friendly, and I love the way it's turned out.
