Atlanta is the kind of place that is hyperaware of its own history, which might be the reason they are so progressive. This idea made itself apparent to me in a couple different ways walking along the Beltline, the greenway circling the perimeter of Piedmont Park.
Last week was the first week in a long time that I haven't had to work while in New York, so I wanted to spend my time there doing whatever the hell I wanted and revisiting some of my favorite places and attractions! Today I wanted to share my travel diary with all of these favorite places (most of which are downtown). Enjoy!
I only spent 3 days in New Orleans with a group, so I titled this blog post as a travel diary. I don't want to call it a travel guide as it was my first time in the city, I was only there for a short weekend, and I missed out on a lot of the major stops (like Café du Monde). We still were able to accomplish a lot, but I'd love a chance to go back and experience more!
